La Wanda Smith, MBA founded Cocoa Diva’s Chocolate Bar in 2008. La Wanda graduated with her MBA from Mills College, Lorry I. Lokey Graduate School of Business in 2010. She is an Entrepreneur, Business Consultant and believes in giving back to the community. After five years of working as a Business Consultant for 7-Eleven, Inc. she decided to leave her career to become her own boss! At 7-Eleven she implemented grass roots marketing with the Oakland Raiders and Everett & Jones Restaurant and consulted franchisees.

La Wanda is a long-time food lover who has traveled the world from San Francisco, Ca. to Madrid, Spain in search of the best chocolate! She is passionate about exploring and pairing new tasting concepts. Her passion motivates her to help people experience pairings of chocolate and wine.
