Cocoa Diva’s Chocolate Bar started as a wine and chocolate bar concept in 2008. The way you taste wine is similar to the way you taste chocolate. Experiencing the color, smell and tastes in similar ways we thought, why not pair them together for the ultimate experience! That’s exactly what we did and began pairing fine wines and artisan chocolate truffles to enhance the flavors, subtleties and nuances of each wine and chocolate we selected.

Although, we have not opened our wine and chocolate bar location yet… for the past seven years we have been pairing wine and chocolates at private parties, corporate events and local festivals to bring the wine and chocolate experience near you.   Now, we’ve taken our Wine Club Events “Underground” to different locations for a true underground experience, choosing different ‘hoods to pop-up in! At our events, wine club members enjoy newly released wines from our winery friends paired with local artisan chocolate, great music and friendly people.

She leverages her abilities that have been applied at leading companies such as 7-Eleven, Inc. where she consulted franchisees on increasing profits and at Diageo where she turned-around Rosenblum Cellars, Urban Winery from under-performance to exceeding financial goals in 90 days.

La Wanda is also the Lead Consultant at her boutique consulting firm called, Make Green Go in Jack London Square. Founded in 2013, she has consulted dozens of entrepreneurs in business planning and launching new businesses. La Wanda coaches small business owners and teaches business planning workshops for various organizations.

La Wanda can be found meeting wine makers and sampling wine at amazing wineries in California and Oregon, walking around Lake Merritt and taking relaxing vacations to Cabo San Lucas with her family.
